Automating attack, defense, and detection with AI

I already build red team automation, running attack simulation as a platform. I have the offense-and-defense background, and I’ve studied the regulations too.

I’ve taught a three-session course on leading with AI. It’s not about which button to press. It’s about how managers lead with AI, and how it becomes something the team actually uses every day.

Bringing AI into Japan, or bringing Japan in

Japan is where I’ve spent the most time these past few years. The people I know span security, company leadership, industry associations, and academia. Those circles connect to each other, and that’s what makes cross-industry work move.
Whether it’s bringing AI into Japan or bringing Japanese partners into Taiwan, I can connect the two sides, and I know where their sense of pace differs.
Built it from a one-person studio into a leader in Taiwan’s domestic security industry
From a studio to a leading domestic security vendor
Took a company from zero to a leading position in Taiwan’s domestic security industry. I’ve managed teams, built systems, and I often break down problems for clients and the community through a business-model lens.
Security, law, business, and entrepreneurship, put together, change how you see a problem compared to someone from a single field. It makes it easier to spot the needs in the AI era that clients haven’t put into words yet.
Building security associations across Taiwan
Taiwan’s security industry associations · Since 2013
Over a decade on the ground building Taiwan’s security industry associations. Started with the student community TDOHacker, then went on to found, chair, and serve as secretary-general for several national security associations, including the first secretary-general of the Taiwan Information Security Industry Development Association.
This is the engine that connects circles. Industry, academia, and government relationships tie together here, and that’s what makes security and AI work actually move.
Built a homegrown Taiwanese BAS platform
Leukocyte-Lab · Since 2016
A homegrown Taiwanese breach-and-attack simulation (BAS) and red team automation platform. Shown at the CyberSec 2021 and 2022 domestic security pavilion, visited by the President and Vice President. Twelve years in security practice, alongside building Taiwan’s security associations the whole way.
In recent years I’ve been bringing security into AI, studying persuasion engineering in the AI era. The talk “The Oldest Attack, the Newest Prey” traces the line from social engineering to persuading AI with language.
Results shipped into a listed company’s product line
Google Cloud AI PSO Engagement · 2024
Six months of technical collaboration with the Google Cloud AI PSO team, with results shipped into a listed company’s product line. Spoke alongside a Google security architect at Google Cloud Summit Taipei 2025.
Combined the experience of building and leading teams with an AI technical background into a three-session course on leading with AI, covering how managers lead with AI and how to spot real needs in the AI era.
